Physical Therapy Technician PRN (20 hours or less per week) - SERC Harrisonville

SERC Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Harrisonville, MO

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT/PTA or OT/OTA, the technician will provide limited assistance to therapists with patient activities consistent with the scope of the Missouri Physical Therapy Practice Act. This position supports the mission, vision, and values of SERC Physical & Hand Therapy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist therapists with patient activities under supervision, within the scope of the Missouri Physical Therapy Practice Act.
2. Perform clinic maintenance tasks such as laundry, cleaning equipment, tidying the clinic, and restocking supplies.
3. Answer phones, schedule patients, document cancellations and reschedules, process co-pays and supply orders, and assist with administrative tasks like charting and using office equipment.
4. Communicate effectively with patients and staff, and assist in preparing patients for treatment with various exercises and equipment.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
