Job summary

The Physical Therapy Technician at West Texas Physical Therapy will support the Office Coordinator and clinicians by handling administrative tasks and assisting during treatments. You will greet patients as they arrive and collaborate with clinicians, ensuring procedures comply with state practice act requirements.

• 1+ years in medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for treatments, assists during administration of treatments, and provides routine treatment.
• Assists patients to put on and remove supportive devices before and after treatments.
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients practicing exercises under supervision.
• Provides routine treatments, such as hot/cold packs, and other modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment; may inventory supplies.
• Assists office coordinator with answering phones and scheduling appointments.
