Job summary

Peak Sport and Spine in West County is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to assist the Physical Therapist, PTA, and Business Office Manager with daily patient treatment and office tasks. The Tech supports patient care as directed and aids in patient education and maintaining patient files.

Responsibilities include scheduling, answering phones, filing, and handling authorizations; maintaining a safe, organized facility; and performing assigned business office tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college hours preferred and/or healthcare training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, family members, insurers and physicians.
• Strong organizational skills and accurate billing documentation.
• Computer experience in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical tasks under PT/PTA guidance.
• Maintain linen supply and organize equipment for treatments.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and callers.
• Handle scheduling, admissions, insurance authorizations, filing, and co-pays.
