Body in Balance Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Technician for its Fairfield location. The position offers 30-36 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an hourly starting range of $16.90–$17.50 based on PT tech experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Physical Therapy Technician/Aide preferred.
• Excellent patient communication and support skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming and assisting into apparel (shorts, gowns, etc.).
• Maintains clean linens and laundry.
• Records daily notes under supervision and co-signature.
• Provides information to patients and answers questions.
• Assists with exercises and use of equipment as directed by PT.
• Educates patients on equipment use and exercise routines.
• Keeps patient information confidential.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and proper supply inventory.
• Assists with equipment prep and delivery, and sterilization.
• Monitors equipment operation and performs preventive maintenance as needed.
• Takes initiative to add value and support the team.
• Handles end-of-day waste disposal and triage calls as needed.
