What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care, ensuring safety and successful exercise execution.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily living activities.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under the direction of professional staff, demonstrating correct activity form or function.
• Observe patients during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients’ response to treatment.
• Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.
