Job summary

Spooner is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician in Chandler, AZ. Location: Spooner Uptown Chandler, Chandler, AZ 85201.

The role supports licensed therapists in delivering safe, effective rehabilitation services and helping patients achieve their goals. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and applicants should be 18 or older with interest in kinesiology/biology or exercise science.

• Prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving our patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercise, and a positive outcome.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.
• Observe the patient during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients’ response to treatment.
• Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.

Salary: $15.15 - $16.15 per hour

What You Bring to the Role
