Summary: The Physical Therapy Technician plays a vital role in supporting patient recovery and well-being by assisting therapists and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and comforting patients to prepare them for therapy
• Providing excellent customer service and encouragement
• Following the therapist’s plan of care
• Supporting non-clinical tasks and patient success
• Educating patients on equipment use
• Assisting with light exercises and modalities
• Helping with patient mobility and safety
• Maintaining communication with the care team
• Keeping treatment areas clean and organized
• Adhering to all procedures and regulations
• Recording patient progress and supporting productivity

Other Tasks

The Technician reports to the clinic director and performs additional tasks as assigned.
