Responsibilities

Summary: The Physical Therapy Technician plays a vital role in the success of Team Rehabilitation by supporting patients to reach their recovery goals and improve their well-being.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and comforting patients to prepare them for therapy
• Providing excellent customer service and encouragement
• Following the established care plan
• Assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks and patient support
• Educating patients on equipment use and safety
• Assisting with light exercises and therapeutic modalities
• Ensuring patient safety during mobility assistance
• Maintaining communication with all involved in patient care
• Keeping treatment areas clean and sanitized
• Complying with all procedures and regulations
• Monitoring and recording patient progress

Other Tasks: Additional duties as assigned by the clinic director.
