Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications.
• Outpatient or healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in preparing treatment area, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist with exercises and transfers.
• Educate patients on treatments and proper equipment use.
• Observe and report patient responses during treatment.
• Document patient progress and update files.
• Apply basic treatments like ice or heat as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and calls.
• Support clinic operations as needed.
