Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide a dedicated inpatient therapy team, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with policies while fostering a collaborative and compassionate work environment.

You will partner with the Director of Therapy Operations, oversee scheduling and training, provide direct patient care, and celebrate patient progress as part of a nationwide leader in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• State-licensure in good standing and CPR certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership; at least two years of clinical experience.
• Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily therapy team operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and interdepartmental communication.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships by addressing patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
