Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide a skilled therapy team and uphold exceptional patient care across our hospital setting. You will partner with the Director of Therapy Operations to manage scheduling, staff orientation, and clinical instruction while delivering compassionate care and measurable patient progress.

The ideal candidate holds current state licensure, CPR, a Bachelor's or Master's in therapy, and at least three years of physical therapy experience

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Therapy Operations with daily team scheduling, orientation, and training.
• Provide direct patient care and build therapeutic relationships to aid recovery.
