Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Plymouth, MA seeks a patient-focused Physical Therapy Department Support role. You will assist with daily operations, prepare patients for treatment, and help transport records, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Shifts are 40 hours a week, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays. Training is provided; reading and writing English at the 12th grade level is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and supportive clinical functions necessary for the day-to-day operation of the Physical Therapy Department.
• Performs routine care and cleaning of equipment.
• Prepares patients for treatment and/or assists patients in preparation for departure at the end of treatment.
• Transports patients, records, equipment and supplies.
• Performs some treatment procedures, such as follow-up of functional and ambulation activities, routine-specific exercises and application of superficial heat or cold under direct supervision of a P.T. or P.T.A.
• Performs general office procedures.
