Qualifications

• Record of excellent teaching and ongoing scholarship related to physical therapy practice, education, or rehabilitation/movement science.
• Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice.
• Active membership in the APTA.
• A DPT degree from an accredited institution.
• ABPTS Board Certification or an academic terminal degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DSc).

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students.
• Contribute to service activities within the DPTE, school, and university.
• Develop and deliver courses; participate in program assessment and curriculum development.
• Direct the Elon Sports Physical Therapy Residency and other courses as needed.
