Zusammenfassung

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Clinical Specialist Staff Fellow to design treatment programs and mentor staff and students within the PT Fellowship program. The role includes direct patient care across diverse areas and regional education activities, with a 40-hour work week split between the Kaiser Permanente PT Fellowship program and the main PT department or satellite MOBs.

The work may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• Completion of a minimum of 200 hours of approved physical therapy continuing education.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• APTA approved Clinical Specialist Certification (OCS, NCS, etc.) or completion/certification from a one-year specialized educational program.

Aufgaben

• Designs physical therapy treatment programs in the specialty area.
• Provides in-service education and instruction to staff and students.
• Acts as a resource and mentor in clinical expertise.
• Attend instructional classes and complete educational program requirements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and Kaiser Permanente policies.
• Maintain area cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment.
• Assess patients and document clinical activities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with physicians on treatment requests.

Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy (BS, MS, DPT or PhD)
