Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in California offers a 12-month clinical specialist resident position beginning the 2nd to last Monday of December and ending the following December. Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy (BS, MS, DPT or PhD).
• California Physical Therapist License (at hire) or license-eligible (CA) at hire.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Design PT treatment programs in the specialty area.
• Provide in-service education to staff and students.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of patient care equipment.
• Assess patients from onset through all PT phases.
• Document clinical activities timely and accurately.
• Delegate appropriately to support personnel.
• Develop and implement classes or clinics for patient populations.
• Mentor students and department staff in clinical expertise.
