Mercy in Missouri is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative therapy team. You will administer modalities, exercises, and procedures under supervision, support documentation, and help maintain department operations.

Qualifications include graduation from a PTA program, a PTA license in Missouri, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Experience in therapy is preferred, with allied health background advantageous.

Under the general supervision of department management and the direct supervision of staff Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants, will administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures. Will also assist in: medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment, and provide any support help needed for improved Department functioning.

Position Details:

Position: Part-time - 24 hours per week

Shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Flexible hours: Friday 4 hours and Saturday/Sunday 10-hour shifts or three (3) - 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of PTA Program.

Licensure: PTA License in the state of practice.

Experience: Experience with therapy preferred.

Certifications: BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Other: Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.
