Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join Lima Care Community in Lima, Ohio. This per diem position supports the physical therapy team and involves assisting the therapist with planning, directing, and delivering therapy services in accordance with facility guidelines.

The role includes Telehealth coordination, documentation, and precise billing of therapy services, with the expectation to complete daily notes on the service date.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited program conferring the title of Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in planning, development, organization, evaluation, and directing of physical therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to ensure evaluations, recertifications, progress notes, and discharges are completed timely.
• Communicate with staff from related departments when planning therapy services.
• Assist in maintaining physical therapy standards of practice and in documentation for residents receiving therapy.
• Ensure that billing for therapy services rendered is coded accurately and daily notes are completed on the date of service.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
