Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy within Mercy's care setting. The incumbent will document patient progress notes and deliver designated procedures under the supervising Physical Therapist, while addressing age-specific patient needs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Arkansas State Board.
• Entry level considered.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy.
• Document patient progress notes.
• Safety and effective execution under supervision by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Coordinate workload in the department as directed by supervision.
