Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluation and treatment planning with the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in establishing and modifying resident schedules and treatment plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and equipment.
• Document compliant and medically necessary CMS/NetHealth documentation.
