Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in High Point, NC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support acute care rehabilitation. The role involves implementing PT programs, assisting with patient assessments, and guiding patients through exercises and activities of daily living.

Qualifications include a two-year PTA program (APTA approved), NC licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. This is a full-time position with day shift hours and rotating weekends, offering comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

Successful completion of a two year college program for Physical Therapy Assistants approved by the APTA.
Current license in North Carolina to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Carry out physical therapy programs as planned and directed by the physical therapist in clinical and research settings.
Train patients in exercises, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
Collect clinical assessment scores and health-related data; assist with research protocol and data quality.
Maintain supplies and equipment; participate in meetings and trainings.
