Job summary

Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a Part-Time / PRN basis. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapies aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function for residents in a compassionate, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the State of California.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist.
• Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Participate in care planning and team meetings as needed.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour, DOE

Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a Part-Time / PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists in a collaborative environment focused on helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatments and interventions designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and enhance quality of life for our residents.
