Riverwalk Post Acute in Riverside, CA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time/PRN position on our rehabilitation team. Under a licensed PT, you will deliver treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function for residents in skilled nursing/post-acute care settings.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, guiding therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, documenting care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current California PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist.
• Document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses accurately.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Participate in care planning and team meetings as needed.
