Job summary

River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, SC is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a PRN basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• South Carolina PTA license in good standing.
• Current continuing education requirements.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document daily treatments and resident progress accurately.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Educate residents and families on maintenance programs and discharge plans.
