Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for outpatient care. Flexible hours may include weekend and holiday coverage; shifts are 8 hours.

You will join a mission-driven team committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving community health. As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule with weekend and holiday coverage.

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapists using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning.
• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

What we are Looking for

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Licenses: Physical Therapist License in state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire
