Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for the Med/surg unit. You will work under a Physical Therapist to develop, recover, and maintain patient mobility and function in a busy acute care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree, a valid NC PTA license, and BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Full-time days, with a rotating weekend/holiday schedule, supportive team, and comprehensive

• State license as Physical Therapist Assistant in NC.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
