Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time daytime shifts. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will help patients develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility.

This role is part of Lifepoint Health’s network and supports a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care setting. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree, a North Carolina PTA license, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Licenses: Physical Therapist License in state NC.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

Essential Functions

• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/ Certification

• Associates Degree Required
