Responsibilities

1. Work in a team providing quality, compassionate care in a secure setting.
2. Implement the patient's Care Plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, aiding in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and daily charges.
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
5. Instruct family or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
7. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent.
3. CPR certification if required.
