Job summary

Greenville Post Acute is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This PRN position focuses on improving residents' mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

You will work in a supportive rehab environment with opportunities for flexible scheduling and potential growth into full-time or long-term roles within South Carolina's largest network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required).
• Maintain continuing education and stay in good standing with the State Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment plans prescribed by the physician and therapist.
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes.
• Assist with rehab and patient care conferences.
• Monitor and report patient progress and changes.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and post-discharge care.
• Assist with training of Restorative Aides.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Report equipment concerns and ensure proper maintenance.

• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion for an underserved population
