Job summary

Greenville Post Acute is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a licensed Physical Therapist. The role focuses on improving residents’ mobility, independence, and quality of life in a supportive rehab environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program and an active SC PTA license; experience in skilled nursing or rehab is preferred. PCC/Casamba familiarity is a plus. PRN flexible scheduling and potential for growth into full-time roles are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment plans prescribed by the physician and therapist.
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes.
• Assist with rehab and patient care conferences.
• Monitor and report patient progress and changes.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and post-discharge care.
• Assist with training of Restorative Aides.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Report equipment concerns and ensure proper maintenance.
