River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, SC is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team on a PRN basis. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy to help residents improve function, increase independence, and enhance quality of life.

Ideal candidates have graduated from an accredited OTA program, are licensed in SC, and bring strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising OT.
• Follow physician orders and individualized treatment plans.
• Document daily treatments, progress notes, and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the OT.
• Assist nursing staff with restorative programs and discharge planning.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and meetings.
• Educate residents and families on maintenance and discharge recommendations.
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe environment.
