ClearSky Health in Baytown, TX is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant for a PRN, day-shift role. You will join a collaborative care team under a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on restoring function, mobility, and patient quality of life.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, active licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. New grads are welcome; prior rehab hospital experience is a plus.

The Role - What You’ll Do

Our Physical Therapy Assistants are key members of the care team, helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and outcomes.
• Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and communication of patient progress.
• Collaborate with patients and the care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain a safe, efficient therapy environment following established protocols.

Qualifications - What We're Looking For

• Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
• Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required
• BLS/CPR Certification required
• While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.

Physical requirements - What you need to know

• A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
• Both gross and precise motor functions.
• Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
• Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
• Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
• Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
