Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in White Plains, NY.

Our PTA role offers highly competitive compensation, mentorship and clinical support, and opportunities to train new graduates, with weekly pay and flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Current New York State PTA License.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities per plan of care as directed by the supervising OT.
• Assist residents in carrying out daily activities.
• Monitor residents' performance in therapy activities, provide encouragement and document progress.
• Teach residents how to use equipment to assist with daily function.
• Collaborate with the PT to establish a rehabilitation plan.
• Maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.
