Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at the Northern Metropolitan Residential Healthcare Facility in Monsey, New York. You will work with a compassionate team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists providing rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate resident’s conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility information.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

Current New York State PT License
