Job summary

Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for per diem/coverage as needed. The role involves assisting PTs with delivering therapy, implementing plans, and helping patients through strengthening and mobility activities.

The PTA should have a valid state PTA license and BLS certification by start date. The position supports a team of healthcare professionals delivering compassionate inpatient rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of physical therapy services including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist (PT).
• Assist the PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions designed to meet the patients’ long-term goals, including strengthening, coordination and balance exercises; posture, endurance/cardiac, functional skills and community re-entry training; joint mobility and muscle lengthening and pain relief
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices

Schedule: Per Diem/Coverage As NeededCompensation: $37.00 Per Hour

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.
