Job Summary

Perform rehabilitative patient treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist, providing objective data on patient progress. Assist in clinical and operational issues, working with the manager to improve processes and utilization of rehab services.

Responsibilities

• Consult with medical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and effective operations.
• Provide physical therapy interventions aligned with the plan of care, offering feedback to the physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation as per guidelines.
• Utilize support staff effectively.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education tailored to their needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an APTA-accredited program. Current licensure in New Jersey and CPR certification.
