Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Hammonton, NJ

Job Summary:

Our Rehabilitation Clinic is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses affecting mobility. As a PTA, you will provide treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and educating patients and families about exercises and treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Assess and evaluate patient needs with the Physical Therapy team to create a treatment plan.
  2. Implement prescribed exercises and treatments.
  3. Provide one-on-one treatment, assisting patients with exercises and activities.
  4. Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
  5. Educate patients and families on exercises and treatment plans outside the clinic.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Jersey.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with patients.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude.
