Job summary

Casper Mountain Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Casper, WY. Full-Time or PRN positions available. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, support patient mobility, and contribute to a positive rehabilitation experience in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with exercises focused on strength, mobility, balance, and coordination
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising PT
• Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques
• Ensure proper use of assistive devices and safety precautions
• Document treatments accurately and timely in accordance with regulations
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that improve residents’ mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. You’ll play a key role in delivering hands‑on care, supporting patient progress, and contributing to a positive rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities
