Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that improve residents’ mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. You’ll play a key role in delivering hands‑on care, supporting patient progress, and contributing to a positive rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide treatment interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist
Assist residents with exercises focused on strength, mobility, balance, and coordination
Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising PT
Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques
Ensure proper use of assistive devices and safety precautions
Document treatments accurately and timely in accordance with regulations
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
