Job summary

Westminster Communities Of Florida is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (Part-Time) or (Full-Time) to support our resident care plans. The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist during evaluations, monitor progress, and document activities and billing in the resident management system.

Responsibilities include home assessments during discharge, admission screenings, and annual reviews as directed by the PT.

Qualifications

• AA degree from APTA-accredited program.
• Two years experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Current State of Florida PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the care plan as designed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and assist the PT during evaluations.
• Monitor resident's progress and communicate with PT.
• Maintain documentation in the system of resident's activities, record progress and billing activities.
• Perform resident's home assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the PT.
• Perform resident's screening during the admission process and quarterly & annual screening to determine the need for therapy as directed by the PT.
