Southern Ohio Medical Center-Vanceburg is seeking a PRN LPTA for our Acute Rehab Unit. You will implement therapies, monitor progress, document outcomes, and assist with discharge planning while collaborating with supervising therapists.

We look for an KY-licensed LPTA with BLS certification, strong critical thinking, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced rehab setting.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree is required.
• Graduate of a program in discipline.
• Physical Therapy Assistant in KY.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsabilidades

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning.
• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

How you'll contribute
