Job summary

Norman Regional seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to deliver PT treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will join a collaborative PT/PTA team focused on patient-centered decision making in a clinical setting.

The role includes documenting services, educating patients and families, and supervising support staff. An Oklahoma PTA license or eligibility is required, with BLS training completed during orientation and maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree from a PTA program (2-year degree).
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligible for Oklahoma licensure/temporary license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation.
• Current BLS maintained during employment or licensure period.

Licensure/Certification

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners or a Graduate PTA eligible for Oklahoma Licensure/Temporary License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Lift Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for the duration of employment or license eligible per the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
