The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. The PTA documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements, works with adult patients with clinical competency, and completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA program are acceptable.
No previous work experience is required.
Previous PTA experience in inpatient/outpatient settings.
Possession of current Texas State license.

Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
