Job summary

Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, OH is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. You will assist licensed physical therapists, contribute to patient evaluations, and support treatment plans in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

This role requires an associate degree, Ohio PTA licensure, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio is required.
• 0 years of experience (entry-level encouraged).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to lift, move and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists with evaluation, planning and implementation of patient care plans.
• Conduct PT interventions including exercise instruction, gait training, and patient education on body mechanics.
• Use modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
