SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT, HAVE TAKEN AND PASSED THE NPTE EXAM OR IS ELIGIBLE AS A NEW GRADUATE TO TAKE IT AND POSSESS A PROFESSIONAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE IN THE STATE OF VA OR IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ONE.

Virginia Beach Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, a 180 healthcare center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who is licensed in Virginia or is a graduate of an approved PTA program and is actively working toward licensure.

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for implementing treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist in accordance with all state, federal, and JCAHO regulations. They collaborate with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing for the residents.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be currently licensed in Virginia or a graduate of an approved PTA program actively working toward licensure.
