Sun Harbor in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, individualized care that promotes mobility and independence for residents.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, personalized care that promotes mobility, independence, and overall well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans and maintain the highest safety standards.
• Follow all departmental guidelines, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ensure resident safety during all therapy sessions and activities.
• Properly use and maintain safety equipment, especially during resident transfers.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and therapy best practices.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to protect residents and staff.
• Keep therapy areas clean, safe, and welcoming.
