- Apply current research to restore function and prevent injury
- Complete documentation supporting therapy services
- Collect data, measure performance, and report patient progress
- Participate in patient assessments and adhere to ethical standards
- Maintain competence with updated knowledge
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a PTA
- Knowledge of physiology and best practices
- Experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Effective communication and instruction skills
- Healthcare documentation skills
- Valid license or certification
