Job summary

Regal Heights Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Queens, NY seeks a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled services under a Physical Therapist's supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled intervention under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

• Document patient condition and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
• Discuss patient progress with supervising PT and address concerns.
• Ensure safe treatment practices and monitor patient engagement and response.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
2. Follow all regulationsandguidelines of facilityincluding compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
3. Adhere to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
4. Provide documentationofpatient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
