Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Malden, a skilled nursing facility in Malden, Missouri, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team. You will work with residents across short-term rehab and long-term care, helping them regain strength, mobility and independence to resume daily activities with confidence.

The PTA will collaborate with therapists to implement rehab plans, document progress and communicate with patients and families in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current Missouri PTA licensure is required.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments including exercises, stretches and activities to improve strength, flexibility and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care.

About the Role
