Summary

For a limited time, Franklin Hospital is offering up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Physical Therapist Assistants!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full or part-time Physical Therapist Assistant position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than 6 months have passed since separation from employment.

Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assists in providing physical therapy interventions to patients/clients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status due to injury, disease, or other causes.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapy Assistant or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care require a valid driver's license and a vehicle available for work, covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
3. Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
