FULL TIME PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PTA)

$2,500 Sign On Bonus

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a full-time opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Silver Lake Healthcare Center. Our therapists are In-House Team Members. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact with our residents through therapy.

Qualifications:
  • Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an accredited program
  • Valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License
  • Competency in therapy treatment, evaluation principles, techniques, and materials & equipment utilization; attainable productivity expectations
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Verifying client information by interviewing clients, reviewing medical history, and confirming the purpose of treatment
  • Helping clients improve their quality of life by assisting in compensating for limitations, such as aiding injured workers in improving motor skills and re-entering the labor force, and teaching persons with learning disabilities to live with increased independence, use public transportation, and enhance mobility
  • Implementing treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapists, and educating other team members and family members involved in the treatment plan
  • Maintaining supplies by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt
